This paragraph is on page 5. I don’t think I knew about antibodies in the gut vs antibodies in the blood. Fascinating!

 

A small, 2006 study published in the journal Gut you probably subscribe points to a possible yes. The researchers found significantly elevated antibodies to various foods in the digestive tracts of rheumatoid-arthritis sufferers but not in their blood. So not only were many of the arthritis patients found to have some level of intolerance to certain foods, but it wouldn’t necessarily have been detected by a blood test.
